The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a flat panel display that uses the light properties of liquid crystals.
In the LCD display each pixel is switched On or Off electronically using liquid crystals to rotate polarized light.
Liquid crystals do not emit light directly and a backligth source from the panel behind is used.
The light that passes through the Liquid Crystal is filtered and pollarized througth a RGB Color Filter, creating the required color image.
LCD technolgy is widely used in different flat panels display sizes.
